Cancellation Policy

No Cancellations or Adjustments After Confirmation

No adjustments or cancellations are permitted to your reservation after it has been confirmed, even though renting DVC points offers significant discounts over booking directly via Disney.

Why is the policy strict? The significant savings you enjoy when renting DVC points — often up to 60% less than booking directly — come with trade-offs. Once a member books your reservation using their DVC points, those points cannot be easily recovered, which is why confirmed reservations cannot be changed or cancelled.

What This Means for Renters

  • Your reservation dates, resort, and room type are locked in once confirmed and the agreement is signed.
  • No date changes or room category adjustments can be made after confirmation.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the agreement is executed.
  • All funds held by DVC Rental Club are bound by the terms of your signed agreement.

We Strongly Recommend Travel Insurance

Although DVC Rental Club does not provide travel insurance, we strongly advise that you check into the possibility of getting coverage from one of the several independent providers. Travel insurance can protect your investment if unexpected circumstances arise — illness, family emergencies, job loss, and more.

Your Payment Is Fully Protected in Escrow

While the cancellation policy is strict, your payment is held securely in escrow by DVC Rental Club from the moment you pay until your check-in day. This means the member does not receive any funds until you have successfully checked in — protecting you from any reservation issues on the member's side.
