Overview

Disney's Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Wilderness Lodge is the newer, more modern sibling to the beloved Boulder Ridge Villas — both housed within the spectacular Wilderness Lodge on Bay Lake. Opened in 2017, Copper Creek represents Disney's most inventive DVC room category: the Cascade Cabin, a standalone lakefront cabin that floats (architecturally speaking) just above Bay Lake, offering a one-of-a-kind Disney vacation experience.

The design theme draws from the mythology of a lost copper mine discovered beneath Wilderness Lodge, with rich earth tones, hammered copper accents, hand-painted tile work, and glowing amber light fixtures throughout. The interiors feel fresh and contemporary while still honoring the rustic Pacific Northwest spirit of the Wilderness Lodge.

Copper Creek's combination of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and grand villa accommodations alongside the iconic Cabins makes this one of the most versatile — and sought-after — DVC resorts at Walt Disney World. Its location in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area is one of the most prized at property.

Deluxe Studio (Sleeps 4)

A contemporary studio with a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Beautiful copper and wood accents create an immersive lodge atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

One-Bedroom Villa (Sleeps 4)

A master bedroom with a king bed, a living area with queen sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen complete with stovetop, oven, and dishwasher. Includes an in-room washer and dryer for added convenience.

Two-Bedroom Villa (Sleeps 8)

Combining a master suite and second bedroom with the spacious living and dining areas of a full villa. Available as a dedicated two-bedroom or as a lock-off pairing of a studio and one-bedroom unit.

Three-Bedroom Grand Villa (Sleeps 12)

The pinnacle of Copper Creek accommodations within the main lodge — a sprawling multi-bedroom villa with sweeping views, a full gourmet kitchen, and enough space for the whole family or group to spread out comfortably.

Cascade Cabin (Sleeps 8)

The crown jewel of Copper Creek. These standalone two-story cabins sit perched over Bay Lake with private decks, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the sensation of being completely away from it all — while still having the entire Disney World resort at your doorstep. Cascade Cabins are among the most unique DVC accommodations in the entire system and require significantly more points than villas.

Location & Transportation

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins share the prime Magic Kingdom Resort Area location of Wilderness Lodge on the western shore of Bay Lake. Guests enjoy scenic boat service directly to Magic Kingdom — a memorable way to start any park day. Complimentary bus service connects the resort to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs.

The resort does not sit on the monorail loop, but the boat launch and bus connections are reliable and frequent. Self-parking is complimentary for resort guests.
