The Grand Californian is literally built into the Disneyland Resort footprint — its private entrance into Disney California Adventure and its walkway to Downtown Disney make it the most convenient Disneyland Resort hotel by a significant margin. Disneyland Park is just steps from the hotel's main lobby entrance.

The resort is located in Anaheim, California, approximately 30 miles south of Los Angeles. John Wayne Airport (SNA) is about 12 miles away, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 35 miles north. Hotel parking is available for a nightly fee. The Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) system connects the resort to the broader Anaheim area.
