Hilton Head Island Resort requires more DVC points per night than most Walt Disney World resorts, but it offers something the Florida parks cannot — a genuine coastal escape. Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is located on the northern end of Hilton Head Island in Beaufort County, South Carolina, near Shelter Cove Harbour. The surrounding area offers world-class golf, cycling on 60+ miles of bike paths, upscale dining in Coligny Beach Park and beyond, and the Atlantic Ocean just minutes away via Disney's Beach House.

The nearest major airport is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), approximately 45 minutes away. Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about 1.5 hours north. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, as Hilton Head lacks the transit infrastructure of a theme park resort.
