Overview
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is the largest Disney Vacation Club resort at Walt Disney World, spanning approximately 828 acres and encompassing thousands of DVC villa units spread across multiple distinct neighborhoods. Opened in 2004, Saratoga Springs draws its inspiration from the historic resort town of Saratoga Springs, New York — a gilded-age destination famous for its thoroughbred horse racing, mineral spring baths, and Victorian resort elegance.
The resort's architecture echoes that upstate New York heritage: Victorian gingerbread details, clapboard facades, turrets, wide verandas, and the kind of manicured, formal landscaping you'd expect from a 19th-century resort town. The color palette shifts through soft creams, greens, and burgundies — a welcome breath of stately Northeastern air in the middle of Central Florida.
Saratoga Springs sits directly adjacent to Disney Springs, connected by a scenic boat launch across the resort's central lake. This proximity makes it the ideal resort for guests who plan to spend significant time shopping, dining, or enjoying entertainment at Disney Springs — or who simply want a quieter, more resort-focused Disney vacation close to the action but away from the theme park crowds.
Villas Available for Rent
Deluxe Studio (Sleeps 4)
A comfortable studio with a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette. Saratoga Springs offers a large number of studio units spread across the resort's many buildings, making availability generally better than at smaller DVC resorts.
One-Bedroom Villa (Sleeps 4)
A master bedroom with a king bed, a spacious living area with queen sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen with all major appliances. In-room washer and dryer included. The one-bedrooms at Saratoga Springs are well-proportioned and comfortable for extended stays.
Two-Bedroom Villa (Sleeps 8)
Two full bedrooms with private bathrooms, a generous living and dining area, and a complete kitchen. Available in dedicated and lock-off formats. At over 1,000 square feet, these are spacious accommodations at a relatively reasonable point cost compared to newer resorts.
Three-Bedroom Grand Villa (Sleeps 12)
Saratoga Springs Grand Villas span multiple floors and offer over 2,100 square feet of living space. Three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, formal dining, and large living areas. Some Grand Villas include views of the resort's golf course or central lake.
Treehouse Villa (Sleeps 9)
Saratoga Springs' most distinctive accommodation — the Treehouse Villas are a collection of elevated two-bedroom, three-bathroom units set among the resort's wooded sections, raised on stilts above the forest floor for a genuine treetop perspective. Features two bedrooms, a den with a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, and private deck. These unique accommodations are a beloved alternative for guests who want something completely different.
Point requirements vary by room type and season. Saratoga Springs generally offers competitive point costs relative to its villa size. Contact DVC Rental Club for current pricing.
